Eczema Research Study - Now Enrolling
Who can participate? Adults or children (ages 2 or older) who have mild to severe eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, whose eczema appears to have become infected.
What is the purpose of the study? Millions of kids and adults struggle with eczema and the constant battle against skin irritation. Although there are many medications available, they do not work for everyone and can sometimes cause unwanted side effects. This is why doctors and researchers are working to develop new medications that may better treat eczema in the future. This study is evaluating an investigational, steroid-free topical gel for mild to severe eczema.
How long does the study last? The study lasts about 9 weeks and involves a total of 9 visits to your local study doctor’s office. These visits allow your doctor to closely monitor your progress, or that of your child, and discuss your overall experiences.
Where? The study is being offered at select centres throughout Australia.
Is there any cost to me? No, if you or your child qualify and chose to join the study, you will receive all study-related care and study medication at no cost.
Will I be compensated for my participation? Yes, participants will be compensated for their time and travel to attend required study visits.
